Therese A. Doyon

Winslow -- Therese A. Doyon, 83, of Winslow, died Sept. 12, 2014 at Lakewood in Waterville. She was born in Waterville, Nov. 30, 1930, the daughter of Edmund and Estelle Giguere Fortin. Therese was a high school graduate. She had been a telephone operator. She also worked in the pharmacy section at LaVerdiere's. Therese was a member of the Central Maine Garden Club. She enjoyed staining glass and tole painting. She also enjoyed doing the craft of the month. Therese Was a communicant of Corpus Christi Parish. Therese was predeceased by her parents and by her husband, Vincent G. Doyon who died May 5, 2003. Therese is survived by her son, Glenn Dusty and wife Bobbi-Jo of Skowhegan; three daughters, Gail Dusty of Waterville, Karen Jolicoeur of Bangor and Ann Jevenak of PA.; a sister, Gloria Hubert and husband Cyril Donald Hubert of Waterville; Eight grandchildren, Ian, Olivia, Shelby, Sidney, Adam, Lauren, Dalton and Taylor; many nieces and nephews; and by several friends. The family would like to thank Lakewood Manor, Dr. William Bennett and Beacon Hospice for their kindnesses. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. Sat., Sept. 20 at Notre Dame Church, 116 Silver St., Waterville. Burial will be in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 168 Mt. Vernon Rd., Augusta at 12 noon on Tues., Sept. 23.
