Theresa M. Leclair

Theresa M. Leclair, 91, of Seton Village and Lakewood Continuing Care Center, died Tues., Mar. 12, 2013 at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Waterville. She was born in Waterville, Jan. 3, 1922, the daughter of Joseph and Marie Ouellette Leclair. Miss Leclair was a graduate of Waterville High School and completed the Executive Secretary Course at Thomas College in 1962. Miss Leclair had been an office clerk for State-Wide Credit Bureau in Waterville for several years. She was a communicant of St. Francis de Sales Church. She was predeceased by her mother; father; sister, Rita; brothers, Leo and wife Medora and Joseph; nieces, Shirley Ahearn and Nancy Leclair. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Lucille Leclair; nieces, Joanne Gurney and Linda Leclair; nephews, Robert and wife Mary, Michael and wife Carol, James and Fiance Donna, Kenneth and wife Jodi; several great and great-great-nieces and nephews; and by several special friends. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Thayer Campus and the staff at Lakewood Continuing Care Center for their excellent care and kindness. Donations may be made in Theresa Leclair's memory to the Humane Society Waterville Area, 100 Webb Rd., Waterville, ME 04901 or to a charity of your choice. Per her request, there will be no visiting hours. Committal prayers will be recited at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Mar. 18, 2013 at the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. Burial will be in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Waterville.
