Theresa B. Giroux

Waterville Theresa B. Giroux, 63, of Collins St. died Wed. Jan. 14, 2009 upon arrival at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Waterville. She was born in Augusta, Aug. 24, 1945, the daughter of Antoine and Irene Couture Jean. Mrs. Giroux was a high school graduate. She had been a sales clerk at K-Mart for 25 to 30 years. She is survived by her husband, Paul R. Giroux of Waterville; a son, Craig Giroux of N.H.; a step-son, Glenn Giroux and wife Mona of GA; a brother, Donald Jean of Augusta; four sisters, Leona Fletcher of Augusta, Ida Brochue of Saco, Grace Bumford of Augusta and Joanne Talbot of Benton Station; two grandchildren. There will be no hours of visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tues., Jan. 20, 2009 at Notre Dame Church, 112 Silver St., Waterville. Burial will be in the new Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta. Arrangements are with the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville.
