Winslow-Steve (Mac) MacLean, 62 of Winslow, Loving husband, father, son, son-in-law, brother, and friend to anyone who knew him passed away peacefully on Thursday March 24th with his loving family by his side, after a 6 month battle with cancer.\r\nSteve was born on August 6, 1953 to Kenneth MacLean and Joan (Paradis) MacLean.\r\nSteve will be remembered and missed by many. He was a wonderful husband to his loving wife Jill (Rines) who he married on July 1, 1978. They not only shared a wonderful marriage but a beautiful friendship, which was evident to anyone who met them. The light of his life was his daughter Brittany. Steve's greatest enjoyments came from watching Brittany play sports and spending time with his family. \r\nHe was predeceased by his mother Joan. He is survived by his wife Jill, daughter Brittany and her fiancee Josh Hamel; father Kenneth MacLean and his wife Patricia; special father-in-law and friend Donald Rines; special brother and sister-in-law Brett and Karen MacLean and their children Matthew and Aron who supported Steve through his journey; Sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Gordon Reynolds; Brothers and sister in laws: Mark & Penny MacLean, Gregg MacLean, Kent and Muriel MacLean, Neil and Philomena MacLean, brother-in-law and wife Scott and Karen Rines, and several aunts, uncles nieces and nephews. \r\nHe will be greatly missed by his best friend and longtime buddy Dan Larrabee (Stinker). \r\nVisiting hours will be Tuesday, March 29th from 6-8pm at Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11 AM, Wednesday, March 30 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 116 Silver Street, Waterville.
