Sandra Louise Rogers, 70, of Sidney, met our Lord on March 30, 2013. Born July 1, 1942 to Joseph Fortunate Doyon and Yvette Blanche Small, Sandra was the sixth of nine children in a large and loving family. She graduated from Waterville High School in 1960 and never stopped learning from her faith, her family, her garden, and her animals. Sandra lived and loved with a generosity of spirit that was legendary. Hard-working, feisty, and competitive, Sandra enjoyed racing her sisters to grow the first tomato of the season. Family Christmas gatherings will be incomplete without her tourtiere pie, pickles, beets, and other food lovingly cultivated from her expansive gardens. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots, and games of all sorts. Sandra welcomed her sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, friends and family to her home with the promise of great food, fresh country air, good laughs, and a late night game of Scrabble. The opportunity to stay at the farm was a cherished get-away for many. Sandra was a devoted daughter, sister, mother and grandmother, especially to Daniel Andrews, 15, of Sidney, Maine. Her strong faith brought her through many of life's most challenging lessons. Sandra was predeceased by her mother and father, her brother, Robert Doyon, her son, Richard Houston Andrews II, her step-daughter, Keren Preo and her niece, Michelle Doyon. Sandra is survived by her husband, James A. Rogers of Sidney; her children; Susan Louise Rindels Marve of Cedar Falls, Iowa, her son, John Houston Andrews Misty of Shallotte, North Carolina, her daughter, Cassandra Buckley Andrews of Lewiston, Maine, her step-son, Lawrence Rogers Gerry of Waterville, Maine and their families. She is also survived by her siblings, Wilma Taliento of Falmouth, Maine, Gloria Legare of Stuart, Florida, Frank Doyon Phyllis of Las Vegas, Nevada, Judi Starr Ron of Sherman Oaks, California, Joseph Doyon of West Gardiner, Maine, Mary Aline Marden Harold of Sidney, Maine, James M.
