Waterville- Sadie M. Gagne, 92, of Waterville died at Oak Grove Center, Waterville Wednesday, May 3, 2017 with family at her side. She was born in Waterville on October 9, 1924, a daughter of Joseph and Emma Bernard. Sadie was a homemaker and was a member of the Winslow VFW auxiliary. She loved music and playing the harmonica; she also enjoyed playing cards with family. Sadie was an excellent cook, loved having family gathering, being there for her family and loved her grandchildren. Sadie had a strong spiritual awareness and was dedicated to her catholic faith. She was predeceased by her husband, Norris in 1982; her parents and was the last as her 20 sibling died before her. Sadie is survived by her 3 sons, Raymond of Waterville, Robert and his wife Jan of Oakland and Rodney of Waterville; one daughter, Patricia Keyes and her husband, Dana of Skowhegan; 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many niece and nephews. \r\nVisiting hours will be held from 4-6pm on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm Street, Waterville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 116 Silver Street, Waterville. Burial will follow in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
