Rejean Lebel Obituary (1941 - 2017)

Dr. Rejean Lebel, 76, passed away Sunday July 16, 2017 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts with loving family by his side. He was born in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada. Son of the late Narcisse and Rosianne (Lacrose) Lebel. Rejean was an Orthopedic Surgeon at Redington Fairview Hospital from 1985 until his retirement in 2000. Rejean was beloved and respected by his family, friends, and colleagues for his undying passion of life and his dedicated love for his work. He loved skiing, hiking, fly fishing, classical music, literature, and most of all exploring the world through his travels. He is survived by his loving partner of 24 years, Vickie Gamache, and his very special fur baby Brigitte, three children, Caroline Lebel (Nicolas Menard) of Quebec City, Canada. Genevieve Lebel of Concord, New Hampshire and Marc Lebel of Montreal, Canada. Step daughters Bethany Fromwiller and husband Mike of Sanford, Maine and Amanda Wells and husband Joel Wells of Beaumont, Texas. His siblings, the brothers, Claude Lebel and partner Agathe Rousseau, Jacques Lebel and his wife Christine, Jules Lebel and his wife Yolande all of Quebec City, Canada, and his sister Nichole Hart and husband Jim of Ottawa, Canada. Ten Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A grave side memorial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday the 27th of July at St. Francis Cemetery, 78 Grove Street, Waterville, Maine 04901.
