Winslow - Priscilla Adeline (Giguere) Roy, 91, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in Skowhegan, Maine. She was born in Winslow, Maine on September 26, 1930, Daughter of the late Joachim and Olivine Giguere. Priscilla grew-up in Winslow and graduated from Winslow High School.\r\nPriscilla was a wonderful, loving, devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family was blessed by her faith and amazing love for them. She was quiet, soft spoken and saw the good in everyone. She will be greatly missed.\r\n\r\nPriscilla was a dedicated homemaker who was an extraordinary cook and a talented bookkeeper. She also worked in the Winslow High School cafeteria for 10 years.\r\nPriscilla loved to read - especially romance novels - and played cards once a week with friends and family. She enjoyed rides to Young's Lobster Pound in Belfast for lobster. She also loved going on day trips with her husband to enjoy the fall foliage. Priscilla was a devout Catholic, and her faith was unwavering.\r\n\r\nPriscilla is survived by her loving husband of 71 years Edmond J. Roy; her son Stephen Roy and daughter-in-law Marta; her daughter Mary Ann Wise and son-in-law Bill; her son Paul Roy; her son Michael Roy and daughter-in-law Cindy; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nOur family would like to thank all the nurses and CNA's, at Cedar Ridge for taking such good care of our loved one during her last 7 months.\r\n\r\nServices and burial will be determined in early 2022.
