Patricia S. Soulnier, 88, of Waterville, died Wed., Oct. 24, 2012 at Mount St. Joseph. She was born in Boston, MA. Dec. 10, 1923 the daughter of John and Mary Malone Soulnier. She had attended high school and worked for a shoe factory for many years. She had been a communicant of Notre Dame Church. Mrs. Soulnier loved playing Bingo and shared her winnings with everyone in attendance. She also loved family gatherings and was an avid book reader. She was predeceased by her parents; her daughter, Cheryl Tessier; sisters, Mary Busby, Dorothy Grant, and Lorraine Johnson and brother John Soulnier. She is survived by two sons, Blair Soiett and wife Lisa of Stratham, N.H. and Bruce Soiett of Somersworth, N.H.; a daughter, Carolyn Matthews of Portsmouth, N.H.; son-in-law, Ray Tessier; sister, Bernadette Goff and husband Edward of Sidney; sister-in-law, Rowena Soulnier; six grandsons; one granddaughter; two great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters. She was deeply loved by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family would like to extend special thanks to the in-house Hospice, nurses and staff at Mount St. Joseph. A celebration of Patricia's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. next Friday, Nov. 2 at Mount St. Joseph, 7 Highwood St., Waterville. Committal prayers and burial will follow in Goff Cemetery, West River Road, Sidney. Refreshments will be served at Mount St. Joseph after the committal prayers.
