Oria Marie Ferland Obituary (1912 - 2005)

Manchester, N.H. Oria Marie Ferland, 92, died Sunday, July 24, 2005 at her and her daughter's residence in Manchester, N.H. She was the widow of Francois Placide Ferland who died Aug. 29, 1996. She was born in Fairfield, ME., Oct. 27, 1912, the daughter of Louis and Mary Duguay Languet. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley LaCoste of Manchester, N.H.; a son, Robert Ferland of Waterville; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. Friday, July 29, 2005, from 9 to 11 a.m. there will be a greeting of her family and friends with a memorial service at 11 a.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville, ME. A private burial will be in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery on Grove St., in Waterville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory may be made to Servants of the Blessed Sacrament, 101 Silver St., Waterville, ME 04901 or to the Humane Society Waterville Area, 126 Drummond Ave., Waterville, ME 04901.
