Martha Joline Abbott

Waterville M. Joline Abbott, 71, of 49 High St., died Tues. Nov. 6, 2007 at her home. She was the widow of Reginald C. Abbott who predeceased her in July of 1985. She was born in Waterville, Apr. 21, 1936 the daughter of O'Neil and Martha Doucette Vigue. She graduated from Waterville Senior High School. She retired from the Business Office of Maine General - Seton Hospital in Waterville. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, traveling and playing the slots. She is survived by one son, Jeffrey Abbott of Spring Hill, FL.; four daughters, Mrs. Deon Lynne Lyons of Clinton, Mrs. Paul Lisa Kinsey, Jr. of Holly Springs, NC, Mrs. Patrick Tricia Shepard of Vassalboro and Betsy Abbott of Waterville; one brother, William O'Neil Vigue of Jacksonville, FL; eight grandchildren, Matt Lyons of Waterville, Brandon Hobbs of Jay, Wesley and Taylor Kinsey of Holly Springs, NC, Aaron Beaulieu of Vassalboro, Jaime and Kadie Abbott-Dawe of Waterville and Kastle Abbott of Spring Hill, FL and by one great grandson, Jack Lyons of Waterville. No funeral services will be held. She will be cremated and buried in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Grove St., in Waterville. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area, 304 Main St., P.O. Box 200, Waterville, ME 04901 or to Maine Children's Home for Little Wanderers, 93 Silver St., Waterville, ME 04901. Arrangements are with the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville.
