Marion Tracy

Waterville Marion ''Bird'' Tracy, 93, of Waterville, died unexpectedly Wed. Mar. 16, 2001 upon arrival at Inland Hospital in Waterville. She was born in Waterville, Oct. 14, 1917, the daughter of Hugh and Blanche Landry Tracy. Marion retired from J.C. Penney and had previously worked for W.T. Grants and then K-Mart. She was devoted to all the children in the family and was beloved by them all. She treasured the family holidays with her devoted family. She traveled to Hawaii and had her picture taken with Don Ho at his show. She was also an enthusiastic fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots never missing a televised game. Marion enjoyed her gatherings with friends at Forsythe where she resided for 25 years, especially Chinese Cusine from our local restaurants. She will be deeply missed by her devoted friends at Forsythe. She leaves behind those who mostly cared for her welfare, her two cousins, Nannette ''Nan'' Boutin and Sonia Smith. Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Mar. 21, 2011 at the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tues., Mar. 22, 2011 at Notre Dame Church, 112 Silver St., Waterville with Rev. Daniel Baillargeon officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Waterville. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
