Margaret E. Fahy 72, formerly of Framingham, Mass. died Friday at Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home in Waterville, Maine from the effects of Parkinson's Disease of several years. She was born in Waterville, Maine on November 6, 1941 the daughter of Ernest and Mary Macisaac White. She was educated in Waterville schools and was a graduate of Waterville High School and attended courses at Boston University and then was employed as a charting inspector for Algonguin Oil Company. Margaret was very active in St. Bridget's Church in Framingham, Mass where she was a longtime member of the Social Group as well as the Prayer Group of the parish. Margaret enjoyed traveling to Italy and other countries in Europe as well as ocean cruises on Ocean Liners. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Donald who passed away on November 13, 1997, her brother-in-law William Butler and sister-in-law Joyce White. She is survived by four sisters: Sally Butler of Reading, Mass; Mary Ann White of Framingham, Mass.; Mrs. Daffney Fletcher of Greenland, New Hampshire and Mrs. Joanne Maguire of Marlboro, Mass. three brothers: Ernest D. White and Herbert White both of Waterville, ME. and Paul J. White and wife Kathy of Cumberland, ME. and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm Street, Waterville, Maine and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 70 Pleasant St. Waterville, Maine.
