Waterville Louis ''Chewee'' G. Rodrigue, 80, of in Waterville died Tues., Apr. 6, 2010 at Lakewood Continuing Care Center in Waterville with his loving family at his side. He was born in Waterville, Jan. 18, 1930, the son of Joseph and Bertha Madore Rodrigue. Mr. Rodrigue had served in the U.S. Army. He had been a courier for Key Bank for several years. He was a member of the Waterville Lodge of Elks and Bourque-Lanigan Post #5 American Legion. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a New England Patriots fan. He was predeceased by his parents and by a sister, Constance Rodrigue of Waterville. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Marjorie LeBrasseur Rodrigue of Waterville; son, Lee Rodrigue and wife Corinna of Sidney; three daughters and their husbands, Celeste and Joe Theriault , Kathy and Steven Francouer, and Linda and Joel Caron all of Waterville; two brothers and their wives, Robert and Stella Rodrigue of Waterville and Gene and Sue Rodrigue of Skowhegan; three sisters, Jacqueline Vigue of Waterville, Gabrielle Marquis of Brunswick and Claudette Starbird of Newport; grandchildren, Danielle Theriault and boyfriend Jesse Woods of So. Boston, MA.,Eric Theriault and wife Brittiney of Norwood, MA, and Stacey Francoeur of Waterville; in-laws, Charles and Liette LeBrasseur of Sabattus and Lauraly LeBrasseur of Waterville; and by several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a ''Thank you'' to MaineGeneral Medical Center - OR and PACU staff, 2 Central, 3 North and CCU; Dr. Ali, Dr. Bolduc, Waterville Anesthesia Associates, Lakewood Continuing Care Center and HealthReach Hospice of Waterville for their wonderful care over the last few months. There will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Sat. Apr. 10, 2010 at Notre Dame Church, 112 Silver St., Waterville. Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Grove St., Waterville. the American Legion and Elks Lodge will be performing graveside services. Arrangements are with the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville.
