Lionel Paul Vigue, 58 of Madison Heights, VA, passed away April 28, 2011. Born July 10, 1952, in Maine, he was the son of the late Lionel Joseph Vigue, whom he loved dearly, and is survived by his loving mother, Madeline Bernard Vigue, of Winslow, Maine. He was also preceded in death by his aunt Cecile, and aunt Laurette. Mr. Vigue had been a resident of Madison Heights for the last 17 years, and was employed at Englander Stove Works for 15 years. He enjoyed music and was a member of the band "The Reflections", which included five band members. He attended Winslow High School, in Maine. Family was very important to him. He loved his children, and his son Paul is continuing his love of music. Survivors also include his two sons, Paul Vigue, of Madison Heights, VA and Cory Jacques and wife Teresa, of Rustburg, VA; two daughters, Leslie Mahew, of Fairfield Maine, and Jennifer Dixon, of Waterville, Maine; three sisters, Elizabeth M. Poulin and husband Norman, of Billerica, MA., Nancy C. Starratt, of Chelsea, Maine, and Jane M. Aucoin, of Fairfield, Maine; special aunt, Gertrude Bernard, of Winslow, Maine, five grandchildren in Maine, and two grandchildren, in Madison Heights, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Fri., May 6, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Church, 47 Monument St., Winslow. Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 78 Grove St., Waterville. Local arrangements are with the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville.
