Keith Stanley Savasak

Keith Stanley Savasuk, 37, was unexpected found Wed. Oct. 3, 2012 on a wood trail in North Belgrade. He was born in Waterville, Aug. 18, 1975 the son of Kenneth and Cecile Fortin Savasuk. Keith was a 1994 graduate of Messalonskee High School in Oakland with a degree in carpentry. He had lettered in Track and played Football. He was employed at Newman's Concrete. Keith was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hiking, and hunting, family and friends. Keith leaves behind his beloved dog, "Chester". He was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by a brother, Jason Savasuk and wife Tonia of North Belgrade; a sister, Michelle Alexander and husband Charles, Jr. of North Belgrade; six nieces and nephews, Marisa, Sara, and Brandon Getchell, Justin Rice, Dallas Shores and Samantha Fortier. The family extends a special 'Thank You' to all law enforcements and game wardens who brought him home. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 at the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. Condolences may be expressed at gallantfh.com.
