Oakland - Kayla Marie (Pike) Veilleux, 22, passed away at the Alfond Center for Health on October 5, 2021, due to natural causes. Kayla was born on December 1, 1998, in Manchester, New Hampshire. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. She loved music and dancing, and her sloth stuffed animal that she brought with her everywhere. She also enjoyed doing puzzles. Her favorite color was green and some of her favorite foods were lobster salad sandwiches, mac and cheese, and watermelon. \r\nKayla loved playing with her two doggies, Emily and Skippy. She was the most loveable young lady you could ever have known, she touched everyone's hearts, and when she came into a room it would brighten up and make you smile every time. \r\nKayla will be watching over everyone now that heavens gained another angel. \r\nKayla is predeceased by an older brother, Andrew Pike and aunts, uncles, grandmothers, and grandfathers. \r\nKayla is survived by her grandparents/adopted parents, Robert and Venita; biological parents Charles and Melissa; older sisters Jasmine and Rebecca; older brother Brandon; and her younger brother Dakota. \r\nA funeral service will be held at 1 PM on October 23, at Grace Bible Church, 333 Oak Street, Oakland. A Celebration of Life and potluck dinner will follow the service in the church hall. The family asks that anyone who is willing to bring something for the potluck dinner to share with family and friends.\r\nArrangements are under the direction and care of Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm Street, Waterville.
