Sr. Juliette Bouchard Obituary (1911 - 2012)

Sr. Juliette Bouchard, CSJ, 101, died May 11, 2012 at Mount St. Joseph in Waterville, Maine. She was born on April 13, 1911, in Salem , MA, the daughter of Jerome and Luce Tremblay Bouchard. She was educated at St. Ann School in Salem, MA and at the Academy of St. Joseph in South Berwick, ME. Sr. Juliette entered the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Lyon in 1927. She was a meticulous housekeeper and provided this service at St. Joseph Convent in South Berwick for 41 years and subsequently at Marie Joseph Hospital, Jackman; St. Joseph Provincialate, Winslow; St. Joseph Convent, Auburn and at Fontbonne Community in Waterville, where she retired in 1992. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Irene, Alice, Mary; and her brothers, Charles, Felodore, Albert, George and Lionel. Friends may call Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, 47 Monument St., Winslow. Committal prayers and burial will take place in St. Francis Cemetery, Grove St., Waterville. The Sisters of St. Joseph wish to express their gratitude to the nursing staff of Mount St. Joseph and to HealthReach Hospice for the excellent care and love they gave Sr. Juliette.
