Joseph G. Nadeau, Jr.

Joseph G. Nadeau, Jr., 73, died unexpectedly at his Waterville residence Sun., Dec. 18, 2011. He was born in Waterville, Oct. 17, 1938 the son of Joseph G. and Laura Ella Winslow Nadeau, Sr. Joseph attended Waterville schools and served in the National Guard and the U.S. Army. He was a metal cutter for Harry Briss Junk and Salvage Company. He is survived by a son and daughter, Douglas and Lucianne Nadeau of Oakland; brother, Benjamin Nadeau of Madison and formerly of Waterville; two sisters, Rose Knox of Skowhegan and Lucille Harriman of Sandy Point; several nieces and nephews; his best friend, Karen Moran and good friends, Ron and Paula Gilbert all of Waterville. A graveside service in Maplewood Cemetery in Fairfield will be held in the spring. Arrangements are with Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville.
