Waterville Jeannette R. Vigue, 90, of Waterville entered into eternal peace on 9th of September, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald C. Vigue who died July 24, 1978 and Clement J. Breard who died April 19, 2015. Jeannette was born and raised in Upper Frenchville, Maine, December 30, 1924 the daughter of Denis and Celina Dubois Roy. She had been a resident here since 1940. She was a member of Notre Dame church in Waterville. Jeannette was formerly employed at the Scott Paper Company in Winslow. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, gardening, canning, summers at Great Pond at their camp and visiting family friends in Connecticut. Ten years after Donald's death, she married Clement Breard also of Notre Dame Church. Together they enjoyed traveling and spending time with their families. After retirement she traveled together with her husband Clem in the U.S., Canada, Europe and the Caribbean. She and Clem enjoyed a trip to Rome with her son and daughter-in-law where they had an audience with the Pope. Jeannette was a member of the VFW Post 8835 Ladies Auxiliary in Winslow, Maine. She also enjoyed cooking and serving the veterans of the American Legion Post 5 on special events and attending American Legion functions with her husband Clem who was Chaplain for several years. Jennette is survived by her son Ronald Vigue and wife Diane Clukey Vigue of Las Vegas, Nevada and sister, Marie Antoinette White of Naples, Maine and her predeceased husband Raymond White. She also leaves many loving nieces and nephews. When she married Clem, she inherited an extended loving family. She is also survived by her step-daughter, Barbara LaCroix and her husband Lucien; step-sons, Raymond Breard and his wife Brenda, Paul Breard and his wife Rhonda; brothers-in-law, Leo Breard, Francis Breard and his companion Barbara Varney; grandchildren, Steve LaCroix and his wife Tammy, Troy LaCroix and his wife Angie, Jason Breard and Katie Scott, Jamie Bibeau and her husband Dan, and Kyle Breard; great-grandchildren, Sean LaCroix and Natalie Bibeau. She was predeceased by brothers, Delbridge Roy, Raoul Roy, Ferdinand Roy; sisters, Annette Doucette, Leona Daigle, Sadie Ouelette, Madeline Veilleux . At Jeannette's request, there will be no visiting hours. We invite all relatives and friends to attend A Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Notre Dame Church, 116 Silver Street, Waterville with Rev. Daniel J. Baillargeon officiating. A luncheon in the church hall honoring her life will follow the service. Committal prayers and burial will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 16, 2015 in the old Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Committal Chapel, Civic Center Drive, Augusta.
