Jeannette "JJ" Flora Hall 78, of Waterville died Fri., April 13, 2012 at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Waterville with her family by her side. She was born in Waterville, April 25, 1933, the daughter of Paul and Flora Young Poirier. Jeannette was a graduate of Waterville High School. She held various employment positions including at the Fort Halifax Poultry Plant and completed her working years at Scott Paper Company in Winslow. As a homemaker, she enjoyed family and friends, reading, knitting and crocheting. She is survived by four sons, Dirk Kershner and wife Cathy of Oakland, Gregory Kershner and wife Leigh of Atlanta, GA, Randy Kershner of Palm Coast, FL, David Hall and long-time partner Diane Giguere of Waterville and a daughter, Roxana Murphy Gorman and husband Peter of Fort Myers, FL.; two brothers, Harold Poirier and wife Marianne and Paul Poirier, Jr. all of Waterville; nine grandchildren, Joshua, Isabella, Sechaba, Talia, Meti and Samuel Kershner; Sarah Hall, Celon and Angus Murphy and two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Landon. She also has several aunts and uncles as well as nieces, nephews and cousins and their families. Special thanks to the staff at the Woodlands Assisted Living and MaineGeneral Medical Center. Also to special friends, John Deguzman, Judy Pelotte, and Cindy Burke as well as all the friends she made on her journey, along with a special thank you to Elise Roy Hobbs for all her support and friendship through this transitional time. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
