Jeannette E. Doucette Obituary (1925 - 2008)

Winslow Jeannette E. Doucette, 83, of Fuller Drive, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008 at Mount St. Joseph in Waterville. She was born in Waterville, June 10, 1925 the daughter of Onezime and Stella Proulx Cote. Mrs. Doucette was a Waterville High School graduate. She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Francis Cote and by a sister, Arlene Graham. Survivors include her husband, Richard R. Doucette of Winslow; two sons and their wives, Paul and Carmen Doucette of Winslow and Richard A. and Rebecca Doucette of North Berwick; four brothers, Leo and Onezime Cote of Vassalboro and Everett and Carl Cote of Waterville; two sisters, Dorothy Bernier of Waterville and Lucille Giroux of Winslow; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008 at Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wed., Oct. 29, 2008 at Notre Dame Church, 112 Silver St., Waterville. Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 78 Grove St. Waterville.
