Oakland Ida Robinson, a life -long resident of Oakland, passed away on August 27, 2015 after a short illness, at Oak Grove Nursing Home in Waterville. Ida was born on September 6, 1941 to Beatrice Latulipe and Charlie Robinson. Ida was a homemaker for most of her life with the exception of when she worked for Willows Nursing Home as a dietary aide. Ida enjoyed playing cards, fishing, camping and just spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed being on her CB where she went by 'Ida Spyda'. Ida was preceded by her lifelong partner, Arthur Morrill, both parents as well as the following siblings, Virginia Levensailor, Ben Robinson, Charlie Robinson, Theresa Brenton and Marylin Carey. She is survived by her sons, Mark Robinson of Norridgewock and Mike and his wife Brandy Robinson of Oakland; grandchildren, Allen-Michael Robinson and Brooke Robinson both of Oakland. She is also survived by the following siblings and their spouses, Cathy and Dicky Brown, Mary and Joe Nader, Rosie and Larry Hollis, Henry Carey and Bobby Robinson, as well as many, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is also survived by her special friends, Pam Chubbuck and Pat Violette. The family would like to thank Oak Grove Nursing Home as well as Beacon Hospice for all of the tender loving care that Ida received during her final days. The family would like to invite family and friends to join them for a celebration of Ida's life on Sunday, November 15th at 1:00 P.M. at the American Legion on Church Street in Oakland.
