Henry Hank Gagnon, Jr., 61, of Winslow, died unexpectedly at his home on the morning of June 6. He was born in Waterville, Feb. 5, 1952, to parents Henry Gagnon Sr. and Marie DiFiore Gagnon. Hank graduated from Waterville High in 1970 and Thomas College in 1975. He worked for the Waterville Housing Authority for 30 years as a jack of all trades. Hank was a drummer with a passion for music. He shared that passion with all who knew him. He was a collector of many things, including friends which he valued the most. Hank loved working on his class reunions and looked forward to seeing all of his former classmates. He became an ambassador of Facebook where he continually put people in touch with each other. He was a die- hard Yankee Fan. He loved his family and enjoyed visiting his son in Texas. He was an amazing father and proud new grandfather. He was predeceased by his father and several aunts and uncles as well as his sister-in-law, Debra Mathieu Morse. He is survived by his mother and his wife, Susan both of Winslow; a son, Matthew and wife Nikki of Lakeway Texas; two daughters, Rachel of Medford, Massachusetts and Melanie of Winslow; and one grandson, Fox Henry of Lakeway, Texas. Visiting hours will be held at Gallant Funeral Home on Sunday, June 9 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church, 26 Monument St. in Winslow at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 10 with interment at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 78 Grove St., Waterville.
