Gordon K. Hannan Obituary (1931 - 2013)

Gordon K. Hannan, 81, died Wednesday evening, June 12, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Liberty, July 2, 1931 the son of Guy and Rose Cowette Hannan. He was a high school graduate. He was formerly employed as an assembler of airplane parts for 38 years for Hamilton Standard-United Air Craft Co. of Windsor, Connecticut. He was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses for 40 years. He and his wife moved to Maine 20 years ago from CT. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years on July 17, Lois Reynolds Hannan of Winslow; his son, Paul Hannan of Enfield, Ct.; a sister, Faylene Ballard of Liberty; three granddaughters, Kristina Thorne of Framingham, MA , Emma and Sazanna Hannan both of Enfield, CT.; two nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Wendall Hannan; and a grandson, Aidin Hannan. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm Street, Waterville. Burial will take place Sunday, June 16, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Hannan Family Cemetery in Palermo.
