China - Glenita Jenny Libby of Pleasantview Ridge Road in China went to be with our Lord July 25th 2015 at the age of 91. She was born Sept. 18, 1923 on the Unity/Thorndike line, the daughter of Morris and Gertrude Robinson Stevens. Jenny worked for 26 years for Keyes Fibre Co. in Fairfield. She belonged to the China Historical Society and loved to travel. She had a wonderful personality and just loved being with people, especially her family. Jenny is survived by one son, Keith Libby and Sandra of Belgrade; one daughter, Sharon K. Farris and her husband Nelson of China; five grandchildren, John Proulx and his wife Michelle of Hampton, VA., Beth Waceken and her husband Dan of Vassalboro, Libby J. Furrow of Winslow, Eric Libby and his girlfriend of Bangor, Lilly-Ann Bickford and her husband Dwayne of Belgrade; five great grandchildren, Bradley and Nathan Bickford, Chad and Abby Waceken, and James Furrow; many special nieces and nephews; step grandchildren; and two great-great- step-grandchildren, Jase and Haily Rose Gaye. She was predeceased by her mother and father; husband, Maynard Libby; three siblings, Lillian Raven, Carroll Stevens, and Arlene Clifford and also by a daughter-in-law, Cecile Fortin Libby. Visiting hours will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tues. Aug 4th, 2015 at Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. on August 5th, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Church, 26 Monument St., Winslow. A reception will follow the funeral service at Notre Dame Church Hall, 116 Silver St., Waterville. Committal prayers and burial will be at 9 A.M. Thurs., Aug. 6th, 2015 at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 163 Mt. Vernon Road in Augusta.
