Geraldine M. Brochu

Winslow Geraldine M. Brochu, 87, died Mon., Sept. 7, 2015 at Mount St. Joseph in Waterville. She was born in Caribou, Nov. 18, 1927 the daughter of Paul and Marie Lizotte Thibodeau. Geraldine was a high school graduate and graduated from Lewiston Nursing School which she attended for three years. Geraldine had been a registered nurse at Thayer Hospital for several years. She was a member of Daughters of Isabella, Children of Mary Group, and Waterville Stamp Club since 1975. Geraldine enjoyed gardening, knitting, camping and trips. She was a square dancer for 35 years. She was predeceased by a daughter; parents; and sister, Stella Rodrigue. Geraldine is survived by her husband, Albert Brochu of Winslow and by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 7-9 P.M. Wed., Sept. 9, at Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 A.M. Thurs., Sept. 10 at Notre Dame Church, 116 Silver St., Waterville. Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 78 Grove St., Waterville.
