Genora M. Paradis

Winslow Genora M. Paradis died Jan. 24, 2010 peacefully in her sleep. She was born Sept. 24, 1918 to Alphonse and Eugene Dumas Caron. She was predeceased by her husband, Claude and her daughter, Nancy. She leaves behind four sons, Ervin of Louisiana, Claude of Minnesota, Roger of Jefferson, Gerald ''Jerry'' of Oakland; a daughter, Genora of Waterville; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; three sisters, Aurore, Myrtle and Theresa; and by two brothers, Wilfred and Oda. She worked at the Woolen Mill for many years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W.#1285. Her family wants to sincerely thank everyone who provided care including the doctors and nurses. There will be no public visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thurs., Jan. 28, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Church, 26 Monument St., Winslow. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to St. John the Baptist Church, 26 Monument St., Winslow, ME 04901.
