Fernand L. Rounds Obituary (1924 - 2007)

SKOWHEGAN -- Fernand L. Rounds, 83, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at the Woodlawn Nursing Home in Skowhegan. She was born in Saco on Feb. 2, 1924, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Grenier LaCroix, one of 13 children. She was formerly employed as a bookkeeper for various companies in the local area. She is survived by her husband, Paul C. Rounds, a resident of Woodlawn Nursing Home in Skowhegan; one daughter, Vern Wentworth and her husband, Rod, of Sebring, Fla.; one grandson, John Wilson and his wife, Sue, of Solon and their children, Andrew and Garrett; also by four brothers and one sister and several nieces and nephews. There were no public visiting hours and a graveside service was held Saturday, Oct. 27, at Evergreen Cemetery in Solon. Arrangements were by Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville.
