Doris Chamberlain

Winslow Doris Chamberlain, 85, of China Road, died Wed. Dec. 29, 2010 at Mount St. Joseph in Waterville. She was born in Waterville, Dec. 5, 1925, the daughter of Wilfred and Mary Thibault Cayouette. She had worked at the Wyandotte Mill for 25 years as a spinner framer. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Wilfred Chamberlain who died Oct. 12, 1998; and by a step-sister, Violet Wells. She is survived by two sons, Robert Wilfred Chamberlain of Fairfield and Allen Chamberlain of No. Vassalboro; two step-brothers, Raymond Cayouette of Winslow and Roland Cayouette of Belfast; seven grandchildren; and by five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Chamberlain had requested no visiting hours nor services. She will be buried in the Village Cemetery in Vassalboro in the spring. Arrangements are with the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville.
