Waterville – Dolores I. Bingham went to be with Jesus on April 8, 2023. Born 1/29/1938 the daughter of Lillian (Magill) Price and Cecil Price, she was raised in Coffeyville, Kansas and went to Bible College in Greenville, Ohio.
After Bible College she met and married Dad, Milton Bingham, on April 7, 1958, and they raised three children. Mom and Dad lived in Parkman before moving to Texas for a year and than moved back to Maine and settled in Dexter, where they finished raising their children and spent most of their years, until Dad passed away in 2008. Mom then moved to Topsham and eventually into Freeport Assisted Living. Due to failing health, she later moved into Hawthorne House Nursing Home in Freeport.
Mom loved telling her childhood stories to the family in a way only she could. She was ornery and mischievous as a child, which remained unchanged as she got older, but that’s what everyone loved about her. She never ceased to keep us laughing as she told her stories about how she and her siblings were always into some sort of mischief with Mom always seeming to be the ringleader. Mom wasn’t much on showing her emotions, but you always felt loved around her.
She was predeceased by her husband and our dad of 49 years Milton Bingham, a son Richard, her parents Lillian and Cecil Price, and six of her brothers and sisters; Bobby Price, Billy Price, Jimmy Price, David Price, Charlotte Bingham, and Cathy Price.
She is survived by her baby sister Ruthanne Price, her daughter Eva Thurlow and husband David, son Gary Bingham and wife Roseanne, a daughter-in-law Laurie Bingham, grandchildren Teresa Harrison, Jeremy Bingham, Melinda Roberts, Katie Roberts, David Thurlow, Jennifer Bryant, Erin Rose, Kevin Thurlow, Greg Bingham, Crystal Bingham, and Ryan Bingham, as well as several great-grandchildren. Most recently, she became a great-great- grammy to Celeste Alora Booth-Bryant. Mom was well loved by many nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed by everyone that loved and knew her.
