Waterville Dianne M. Hanley, 64, died Sat., Nov. 7, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Gardiner, Aug. 18, 1951, the daughter of Earle and Margaret Hooper Mealey. Dianne was a 1969 graduate of Gardiner Area High School and a 1971 graduate of Augusta School of Business. She worked many years at the Kennebec Community Action Program KVCAP. She retired from KVCAP as Heap Director for Kennebec and Somerset Counties. Dianne was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family very much and always made those around her feel very special. Her sense of humor, warm smile, and amazing cooking ability will be deeply missed. Dianne was predeceased by her mother and father, Margaret H. and Earle H. Mealey. She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Hanley; daughter, Jennifer S. Richardson and husband Lee; two sons, Gregory M.Hanley and wife Bobbi-Jo and Jonathan D. Hanley and wife Carrie; six grandchildren, Madison Hanley, Andrea Richardson, Grace, Garin, and Olivia Hanley and Samuel Richardson; a sister, Darlene Dow; two brothers, Dana Mealey and David Mealey and wife Dawn; two sisters-in-law, Mary Pelletier and husband, Billy and Maureen Mangeno and husband, Joe; and brother-in-law, Martin Hanley. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thurs., Nov. 12, 2015 in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mount Vernon Road, Augusta. There will be a luncheon following the service at the Kennebec Community Church on St. Andrews St., Augusta next to Cony High School.
