Winslow Debora ''Debbie''Ann Bolduc-Burke, 44, of Smiley Ave., went home peacefully to greet her Lord Sun., Jan. 22, 2006 after a battle since surgery on Sept. 10, 2004 with left frontal olegodendroglioma cancerous brain tumor, at Oak Grove Living and Rehab Ctr. in Waterville. She was their since Dec. 20, 2005. She was born in Waterville June 18, 1961 the daughter of Bernard G. Bolduc and Juliette ''Judy'' E. Douin Bolduc. Debbie graduated in 1980 from Winslow High School , from UMA in Augusta with an Associate of Art Degree in 1984 and from the Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio with a Mental Bachalor of Science Degree in 1987. She worked as a Mental Health Technician Drug Substance Abuse then became a Licensed Social Worker and worked in her field for several years, until she became disabled. She took pride in her field because she cared deeply for people. Debbie saw good in everyone and was always ready to help anyone in need. She had a giving heart and loved to make her friends laugh and she especially enjoyed family get-togethers. Debbie married Henry W. Burke Nov. 1, 1997 and separated from him Mar. 6, 2005. She continued her residency in Winthrop and was the caring mother of two daughters, Amanda Marie Bolduc-Burke and Ruth Ann Bolduc-Burke. Debbie loved helping people, rescuing animals, getting involved in the community and was an avid nature lover. She enjoyed music, liked to sing and played various musical instruments. She also liked to plant flowers with her children. Debbie was dedicated to her precious daughters and liked to get involved in their lives, do fun activities together. She was deeply spiritual and called her children ''a blessing in her life.'' Debbie will be sadly missed by her daughters, her parents, her doting grandmother, Adrienne B. Douin, her uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and the Burke family. Debbie lived with her parents in Winslow the last 14 months of her life, while rehabing at Maine Center for Intergrated Rehab. in Fairfield. Family and friends may visit form 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Wed., Jan. 25 at Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. A Celebration of her life will take place at 11 a.m. Thurs., Jan. 26 at St. John the Baptist Church, 46 Monument St., Winslow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to set up a trust fund for her loving daughters, Amanda and Ruth Ann.
