Sidney, Maine-David Henry Prescott 68, died Friday July 1, 2016 at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta, Maine.\r\nHe was born in Westbrook, Maine on February 13, 1948 the son of Thornton G. and Edna (Hebert) Prescott.\r\nHe was educated in Westbrook schools and later moved to Waterville where he graduated from high school.\r\nHe was formerly employed as owner and manager of Central Maine R/C and Hobbies in Fairfield for several years,\r\nand was also well known as owner and driver of a Nascar Busch North stock car racing at various tracks around \r\nNew England. He was a good friend and competitor with Pete Silva. He is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Elizabeth Kennedy\r\nand two brothers, Dale and Dana Prescott as well as his caregiver for seven years, Tina M. Booth and will be greatly missed by his good friend,\r\nMike Flanagan. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Darrell Prescott.\r\nVisitation will be held Friday July 8, 2016 and Saturday July 9, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Gallant Funeral Home\r\n10 Elm Street Waterville, Maine.
