Waterville. David Taylor Malcolm, 63, died unexpectedly Aug. 24, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Augusta, Dec. 26, 1950 the son of Howard and Beverly Taylor Malcolm. David was a 1970 graduate of Cony High School in Augusta. He had worked as a yard man maintenance for 17 years for Levesque Lumber Co. David enjoyed biking, refinishing woodwork and socializing within the community. He was a great history buff. He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Steven and a sister, Elaine Malcolm. David is survived by a brother, Mark Malcolm of Madison; six sisters, Barbara Malcolm of West Hartford, CT., Sally Garafalo of Whitefield, Rachel Goggin of Augusta, Susan Buzzell of Peabody, MA., and the twins, Kathleen Malcolm of Lynn, MA. And Kathrine Malcolm McNaughton of Hallowell; several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, Aug. 29, 2014 in Bolton Hill Cemetery, Rt. 3, North Belfast Road, Augusta. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in David's name may be made to American Lung Assoc. of Maine, 122 State St., Augusta, ME 04330.
