Damian Micheal DePalma

Waterville, Me - Damian M. DePalma, 28, passed away unexpectedly in Waterville, Maine on Tuesday October 11th.Damian, otherwise known as Buddy or D to his close friends and family, was born in Waterville at Thayer hospital on October 16, 1993 to Brandie Bussiere and Gregory Robert DePalma. He attended Tourtellotte Memorial High School.Buddy loved music of all types, friend and family dinners, and hiking across New England, most frequently in the White Mountains and Bradbury mountain trails.Buddy was predeceased by his grandfather Richard Bussiere, grandmother Linda Westbrook, his uncle Bill, and cousins Joshua and Christopher Babbit, as well as others.Buddy is survived by his parents Brandie Bussiere and Greg DePalma, his stepmother Heather Micue, his siblings Dustin Shepherd, Miranda Shepherd, and Angelique Hubert, his step-siblings Shaun McMorrow and Micayla McMorrow, his grandmother Cindy Babbitt, his aunt Aimee Taylor and many others who will miss him dearly.In lieu of a traditional service we will be holding a candle light vigil on his birthday, Sunday October 16 at 8pm at the Two Cent Bridge park in Waterville.Instead of flowers we are asking that monetary donations or goods be donated to the Waterville Homeless shelter to help those in need this Winter. A collection box will be available at the vigil for those who are able to provide.
