Craig Mott

Fairfield - Craig T. Mott, 77, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at his residence with family at his side. He was born in Roslyn, New York on September 2,1947, the son of Donald Thomas Mott and Marion May Behrend. Craig served in the U. S. Navy and after his years of service he was employed in the Merchant Marines. He was a commercial fisherman for many years. Craig owned Salvage Yards which assisted fishing companies and salvaged lobster traps. He traveled well and traveled the world. Craig enjoyed going to Hollywood Casino and the coast. Craig is survived by his wife, Beverly Busque-Mott of Fairfield; children, Madison Hayden and husband, Steven of Skowhegan, Craig Aaron Mott of Waldoboro, Chris Mott of Auburn and Tiffany Howard of Augusta; sister Donna Carlton of South Carolina.
A committal service with military honors was held and burial in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mount Vernon Road, Augusta.
