Oakland-Christina Elizabeth McInnis, 59, of Oakland, was called home unexpectedly by her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 16, 2013. She was reunited with her Mom and Dad; her son, David; her beloved dog, Trouble and many other family members. Christina was born in Augusta on November 28, 1953. She was the daughter of Maurice and Regina Paradis Ruel. She was a graduate of Winslow High School, Class of 1972 and from Bernard's School of Hairdressing, Lewiston in 1974. Christina was employed for many years as a CNA at MaineGeneral Medical Center and as a Patient Registration Representative at Inland Hospital until developing health issues that forced her to retire. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, dearly loving her grandchildren. Christina loved knitting, making crafts and watching movies. She was predeceased by her parents; son, David Goldsmith; sister, June Sinclair; brothers, Robert and Paul King. Christina is survived by her loving husband, Joseph P. McInnis of Oakland; son, Christopher Goldsmith of Fairfield; daughter, Laurie Goldsmith of Shawmut; 3 brothers, Robert Ruel of FL, Ed King and wife, Linnie, and William King of TN; 6 sisters, Donna French and husband, Robert of Fairfield, Karen Savage, of Bangor, Linda Straker of CT. , Elizabeth King and partner, Lou, Lynn Fortin and husband, Gerald and Lisa Thompson all of South China, 9 grandchildren, Lindsey, Kellie, Devin, Gabriel, Garrett, Taylor, Jayden, Keria and Julian; many nieces, nephews and cousins; her loving pets, dog, Diva; cats, Momo and Cuddles. Family and Friends may visit on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 10 AM until a Memorial Service at 11 AM at the Winslow Baptist Church, 1 Hopeful Drive, Augusta Rd, Winslow.
