It is with deep sadness we share the passing of our father. 25 years ago he decided to leave NYC and take a chance moving to Maine in hopes of a better life for our family. What he left behind was a delicious legacy. He created all the sauces we use at the restaurant. He was the master of sauces, a true artist; and, food was his medium. I never knew a harder working man so devoted to his family. He loved us unconditionally, and gave his life to the restaurant for us.\n\nWe are entering our 25th year of business in Waterville, and it is solely because of our father’s blood, sweat, tears and ingenuity. It’s an amazing feat for any restaurant, let alone an Asian restaurant in Central Maine, but he was such a talent in the kitchen. He created flavors so embraced by this community. He was a quiet and humble man, but bold in the kitchen. We will continue his delicious legacy as he taught us hard work and perseverance.\n\nWe would like to thank the medical staff at Maine General in Augusta who took care of him with such dignity and compassion. Everyone went above and beyond to show our family love and kindness. The care he received was truly amazing and we are so grateful.
