Bessie E. Joseph

Waterville, Maine Bessie E. Joseph 82 died Wednesday morning February 18, 2009 at Oak Grove Center in Waterville. She was born in East Brookfield, Massachusetts on February 13, 1927 the daughter of Everett and Lucille Leach. She formerly was employed as a waitress at Park's Diner, Diambri's Restaurant and the Villager's Restaurant here in Waterville for many years. As a pastime, she liked to read and knit, enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in their activities. She also enjoyed family get-together. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Albert Joseph of Waterville; two daughters, Elaine Page and her fianc Paul Boulette of Oakland and Phyllis Nash and husband Larry of Clifton Park, N.Y.;grandchildren, William DeRosby and wife Angela and Michael DeRosby and wife Amy; several great-randchildren, Kari and boyfriend Dickie Carson, Jordan, Matt, Nick, Dylan and also Rascal DeRosby, Chelsey and Stacey Boulette of Oakland and Jayde Bragdon and Devon Parker of Waterville; also Bessie's best friend, Ruth DeRosby of Waterville; also by several nieces and nephews. A special thanks from the family goes to the Oak Grove Center nurses and staff and to HealthReach Hospice. There will be no public visitation. Cremation will take place at Gracelawn Memorial Park in Auburn, Maine A private service will take place later at the convenience of the family.
