Armand G. Pomerleau Obituary (1926 - 2008)

Waterville Armand G. Pomerleau, 82, of Louise Avenue, died early Wed. May 21, 2008 at Glenridge Nursing Home in Augusta. He was the widower of Annie L. Bigelow Pomerleau who died Mar. 8, 1999. He was born in Auburn, May 16, 1926, the son of Wilfred and Florila Begin Pomerleau. Mr. Pomerleau was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He had been a herdsman in Michigan for several years. He was a communicant of Notre Dame Church and was a member of Bourque-Lanigan Post #5 American Legion. Survivors include two daughters, Yvonne Yahne and Irene and a son, Raymond Pomerleau all of Michigan; a sister, Terri Connatser of Waterville; a half-sister, Theresa of Maryland; six grandchildren; and two nieces. Committal prayers will be recited at 2:00 p.m. Wed. May 28th at Fr. Leonard LeClair Chapel, Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Civic Ctr. Drive, Augusta. With burial to follow. Arrangements are with the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville.
