Amy DeRosby was born Jan. 30, 1987 in Waterville and grew up in Vassalboro. Amy was our little sister. She was the babyour social butterfly. She never met a stranger and had many friends. Amy's heart was huge. She was fun loving and easy going. As much as Amanda loved having a place for everything and everything in its place, Amy was more fluid in how she approached life. She loved LIFE and enjoyed it to the fullest. She loved the song 'I Love That Muddy Water'. Amy loved animals and she loved dirt. Whenever she found a lost animal she could never refuse it. They were her passion. She was a fan of the Grateful Dead Band and Jerry Garcia. One of her dreams was to be able to tour with them. Amy was at the point in her life where she was considering starting her own family. When she died, she had her most precious animalsher babies Milo her dog and Otis her cat. We are asking if there is anyone who loves dogs to consider visiting the Waterville Animal Shelter and visiting Milo. He needs a good home that will love him and care for him as much as Amy did. Amy is survived by her mother Jackie Bragg, her father Robert DeRosby, sisters; Karen Sturtevant of Massachusetts, Narissa Dan Seamans of Waterville, and Samantha Bragg of Vassalboro. She is also survived by two brothers, Robert DeRosby Jr. and Shawn Joyce Bragg of Vassalboro; many nieces, nephews, cousins as well as many extended family members. A Celebration of their lives will be held on Saturday November 14th at Light House Ministry Center on High Street in Oakland at 11 AM. Instead of flowers, we are asking that friends would consider donating to Arianna's fund or to the Bragg-DeRosby family directly.
