Alcirdas S. Sakal Obituary (1948 - 2012)

Alcirdas S. Sakal, 64, died unexpectedly Tuesday evening, July 31, 2012, at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. He was born in Kossel, Germany on February 1, 1948, the son of Bruno and Genevieve Sakal. He was formerly employed as a building manager for General Motors in Detroit, Michigan for several years. He is survived by his wife Lynn C.RaleehSakal of Waterville; his children Noah and Emily; his brother Michael Sakal of Dearborn Heights, Michigan and his sister Michelle Pfifer of Levon, Michigan. Visitation will be held today Fridayfrom 2-4 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm Street, Waterville, Maine with a memorial service at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Alan Imes officiating. Burial will take place later in Michigan at the convenience of the family.
